A MALÁRIA DE MATA ATLÂNTICA NO BRASIL
Abstract
As Principais áreas maláricas dos estados do Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Espírito Santo e outros do Sul do País estão, hoje, praticamente restritas às suas regiões de Mata Atlântica, onde ainda ocorrem casos autóctones de malária por Plasmodium vivax. Outra área receptiva para transmissão de malária na região Sudeste, além da Mata Atlântica, no litoral, está o Vale do Rio Paraná, no interior.
