GRAU DE INFORMAÇÃO DE IDOSOS A RESPEITO DE MEDICAMENTOS MANIPULADOS, EM MUNICÍPIOS DO SUL DO PAÍS

Abstract

A farmácia de manipulação, no Brasil, vive um período de progresso e de abertura de mercado, devido às vantagens e benefícios oferecidos, a qualidade e seriedade de suas atribuições e ao trabalho de marketing das entidades do setor magistral. Além disso, outro motivo deste crescimento é a recuperação do papel do farmacêutico, indispensável na relação médico–paciente–medicamento. O farmacêutico, como elo entre o médico e o paciente, pode proporcionar um maior alcance dos resultados farmacoterapêuticos, diminuir os riscos provocados pela auto‑medicação e melhorar a qualidade de vida da população(LYRA et al, 2003). O setor magistral, que nos últimos anos obteve uma expansão de 40%, hoje é composto por mais de 5.200 farmácias espalhadas por todo o território nacional (TOKARSKI, 2003).
