Abstract

Com o advento da globalização, a queda das barreiras de entrada de diferentes artigos importados tornou-se inevitável. Por vezes, isso facilita nossas vidas pela competição dos preços dos produtos importados versus o nacional, diversificando as nossas opções de aquisição. Mas, por outro lado, existe um perigo: a facilidade de aquisição e os custos reduzidos podem levar a uma compra com qualidade duvidosa (Simionato, 1999). A abertura do mercado provocou uma maior exposição das empresas à concorrência internacional. Devido aesse fato, as empresas nacionais, cada vez mais, têm procurado obter a satisfação dos clientes, e concomitantemente garantir sua participação no mercado com produtos de qualidade.
